Mikoto Studio is not finished. We are sharing this early access preview in hopes that people will try it out, give feedback, and help us continue our development journey.
We cannot guarantee that this early access preview of Mikoto Studio will be bug-free or will work at all on your machine. By downloading and using the early access preview, you agree that usage data may be collected for debugging and development purposes. We use Bugsink to collect anonymized crash reports and error logs. Only IP addresses and technical details relevant to the crash may be collected, and no personally identifiable information is collected without your explicit consent. This data helps us identify and fix issues to improve the stability of Mikoto Studio.

Multitrack editing
Arrange multiple voices on independent tracks in a timeline-based editor. Combine with audio tracks and MIDI recording for a full production workflow, all within the same app.
Audio effects
The early access preview ships with the MiFX framework: a new, dead-simple format for audio plugins. Better yet, we are open-sourcing our efforts so you can help shape its future!
UTAU compatibility
Plug-and-play support for all your UTAU voicebanks. Thousands of user-made virtual singers work out of the box, no conversion or manual setup needed.
Drag-and-drop installation
Drop a voicebank folder or a zip archive straight into Mikoto Studio. It installs automatically, is recognised instantly, and is ready to use in seconds. No configuration files or manual path setup needed.
Language support
Automatic lyric-to-phoneme conversion is built in for three supported languages during the preview phase. Type your lyrics and Mikoto handles phoneme mapping and timing for you!

Accessible interface

Three languages, one interface
Mikoto Studio ships with built-in phoneme dictionaries and lyric-to-phoneme conversion for English, Japanese, and Indonesian. Just type your lyrics, everything else is handled for you.
English
Fully automatic lyric-to-phoneme conversion. Supports VCCV and Arpasing voicebanks with easy-to-use phoneme editing so you never have to remember an alias again.
Japanese
Hiragana and romaji input, all handled automatically. Supports traditional CV, VCV, and CVVC voicebank configurations, with automatic alias processing.
Indonesian
Developed in partnership with IDN100%, supporting the most widely used Indonesian reclists in the UTAU community with intelligent lyric-to-phoneme mapping.
